Napier AI: Behind the name

We were founded on data science principles, and our name reflects this.

Our namesake is a 16th century mathematician and polymath, John Napier. He discovered logarithms and invented ‘Napier’s bones’, arguably the first hand-held computer.

Logarithms save time and limit errors in calculations. John Napier's work changed the way we understand the world.

Just as Napier’s logarithms helped astronomers in the 1500s, our solutions are revolutionising compliance by saving time and limiting errors.
